I made the Switch!!!

I just switched from Blogger to WordPress, so excuse my dust while I get my feet back under me. Thanks for your patience. You guys are awesome!

If I can make this work, I’ll let you know how I did it, since a few people were interested in switching as well. Until then, if you could comment below and let me know if your old subscription to my Blogger site redirected you here, that would help. I’m really hoping it worked. *crossing fingers

  1. brought me right over! Keep us posted on your thoughts. I don’t have a need for followers to keep track of me on my blog as I do mine mostly for my memories and family/friends to see what we’re doing. But Blogger has had some glitches I don’t like so good to know if I wanted to switch over.

    1. Yay, I’m glad it worked!!! So far I like WordPress better, but it’s been all of a week I’ve played around with it. There are a lot more choices–or at least so far. I’ll let you know as it goes on. The switch actually wasn’t as hard as I thought.

  2. YES!!! I really wasn’t sure if it would work. I’m so happy that it did. If I can remember what I did or how I did it, I’ll put a post up about it. I’ve had a few people ask. Apparently I’m not the only one who was frustrated with Blogger. :) Thanks for letting me know it worked.

  3. Yup, worked for me too. I see it in my Google Reader. Enjoy the new site! (Let me know how it goes? Overall, I’ve been happy with Blogger, but I’m always interested in knowing if there’s a better alternative.)

    1. Awesome!!! Yesterday when I was in the mess of HTML codes and changing feed links, I was sure I was going to destroy both blogs. Glad to know it worked. So far I like WordPress, but there are a few things I miss already. I think I’ll write a post next week about the switch, how I did it and what I like.

  4. Wow! That was pretty slick. Nicely done. It brought me right over. I’ll go change my bookmark now so I come here from now on and not have to be directed. I like this theme too; that you chose.
