Want Another Follower?

(blogging)

.

I made the switch from Blogger to WordPress last week and overall I really like it better. However, I’m still learning the ropes. I plan on writing a post next week on why and how I made the switch, since several people have asked.

I’m also still working on that 100th post. Sorry. It got pushed to the back burner in the switch (and my mania about this new manuscript). I’m going to have a few more questions for you guys next week to go along with it, too, so be looking for that.

But mostly, I’m posting right now because in the switch over, I lost all the blogs I follow. I’m slowly going through and re-following, but since I’m searching for you anyway, I’m wondering if you can make it easier on me.

So…

If you have a blog on writing, reading, music, religion, politics (I’m pretty conservative), or something funny, let me know in the comments below. I’ll hop over and follow. Same with Twitter.

I can’t even begin to describe how much I’ve learned from everyone this last year. People are so generous with their knowledge. I’m soaking it all in. You guys are the best!

Hope you have a great weekend.

UPDATE:  The wonderful Cassie Mae recommended I use Google Reader, and guess what, it’s all there! Yay! I told you I learn so much from you guys. However, if I wasn’t following you before and you’d like me to, still comment.

  1. Yucky! That’s stinky :( That’s why I LOVE my google reader. I do all of my blog reading from there and so if someone switches, it’ll still let me subscribe to their page :)

    1. Google reader? I haven’t used it. Hmmm. I bet I still have all my stuff over there, right? Maybe I shoulda checked into this before. ;) I just don’t feel like spending the time to be educated on this. Too many other things I wanna do. Haha. Oh well. I got myself into this. I should probably get myself out. Thanks for the idea.

      1. It’s way easy. If you have a google account than you can use google reader. And everything is there and you can organize the blogs you follow into folders in order of importance or frequency or whatever you like. And if you had a blogger acct. then you’ll have a google account. :)

  2. Maybe I should check out the Google reader too. I have blogs in the WordPress reader, and non-Wordpress blogs bookmarked on my Chrome dashboard, but it’s seriously a mess. It would be nice to consolidate them all into one place, but I’m like you and hate doing things like that when I’d rather be reading or writing.

    1. Awesome. I’m following now, but through Google Reader, not WordPress. Sometimes I think software programmers sit back and laugh diabolically when they think about the headaches they cause us. I would.

  3. Looking forward to more posts from you.

I find it hard to make a blog focussed on just one genre. My blog is about everything I can do and I can’t do.

  4. Rebecca you are my kindred spirit! I sure would like to get to know charity as well. I read part of your story–high five!

  5. Hi! I could have sworn I’ve visited this website before but after browsing through a few of the articles I realized it’s new to me.
Nonetheless, I’m definitely happy I came across it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back regularly!

  6. Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.

    Any recommendations?
