There’s a hymn which plays a big role in Augustina.
A few months ago, I found a Spanish version of it by Rebecca Lopez and Marvin Goldstein. It is so gorgeous and so perfect, I had to post it.
Do you recognize the hymn?
Isn’t that amazing? I love, love, love it.
There’s another hymn mentioned in the book which is probably unfamiliar to LDS readers, but I’ll post more on that later. It’s become another favorite of mine.
My goal…
Sigh.
Okay, if I post the goal here, I have to complete it, right?
My goal is to finish an arrangement I’m working on that combines both hymns. I think it will be a vocal duet, but as of right now, it’s a whole lot of scribbles on a whole lot of manuscript paper.
Oh well. I posted it. Now I have to complete it. :)
I’ll let you know how it goes.
By the way, thank you guys for being the best! Seriously! As I’ve started posting about Augustina, your enthusiasm and excitement has been so great. I love all of you!
Have a great one!

I love that hymn. It says it all (whether in Spanish or English) straight from the very soul. That is the perfect hymn for Sadie.

I thought so, too. I’ve listened to this arrangement so many times. I love it!
