I lost my mom two weeks ago (Lynn S. Lund). To say that I miss her would be a gross understatement. The funeral was beautiful, though, and I am overwhelmed by all the love and support everyone has shown me and my family.

My mom published close to 300 religious songs in her lifetime, several of which have been featured in LDS church magazines and sung around the world. She has been my inspiration, my cheerleader, my hero and mentor in so many ways!
And…
Today is her birthday.
So in honor of her birthday, I thought I’d give away ALL of my music for FREE.
If you’d like my music for a free download and if you haven’t already subscribed to my newsletter, you can do so here, and you’ll receive the link for the FREE music:
Love you forever, Mom!

I’m so sad for your loss. Your love for her always was quite evident whenever you spoke of her. What a great heroine you have forever to motivate and inspire you and your family through this life.

The older I get, the more I appreciate all she’s taught me. Moms are great that way. Thanks for your kind words!

Isn’t that so true. I never appreciated my mom like I should until I had my first child…and each year thereafter with life’s challenges with raising kids, I appreciate her more and more and am in awe of what she did and still does. Treasure your precious memories.

Yes! You said it perfectly! My mom raised 7 kids. I can barely keep my head above water with 5. :) Moms are amazing.

What a beautiful way to celebrate her life! These losses are the worst in life because the people we love are the best in life. Wishing you peace.

Thanks, Anne! I completely agree. It’s been fun to go back and hear so much of who she is in her music.

Just wanted to say that I discovered your mother’s music a few years ago (through connections of the Deseret Chamber Singers recording of her works) and have enjoyed her amazing talent in composing and testimony through music. So much so, that I noticed your blog 6 months ago as I was looking up your mother online- just to see who she was and more information about her. My sympathies to you and your family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to drop me a note. She was so excited to have you guys recording her music. :) Thank you for your sympathies. We miss her a ton, but know she’s in a better place. I ended up putting together a website of her music if you’re ever interested. lynnlund.com. Also, if there are any online recordings (or youtube recordings) of her songs, let me know, and I’ll add the links.
Thanks again,
Rebecca
